Alaska Air Group Credit Union

The year 2020 has already left a mark on our lives- the economy and our everyday- have been greatly affected. As the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold, Alaska Air Group Credit Union is open and available to you. While we are taking additional steps to protect the health, safety and well-being of our members, employees and communities, we wanted to share ways we are here to help outside of the physical credit union:

Loan Options

At the start of the crisis in March, we began offering Emergency Skip-A-Payments, allowing you to skip up to three months of your loan payments through AAGCU.  We also began offering an Emergency Loan to help cover costs and ease some financial worry.

This loan is designed to help with the immediate needs of our members directly affected by COVID-19. This is an unsecured loan with an up to $2,000 credit limit. The first payment is deferred for 90 days.  For more details, visit our personal loans page.

Mortgage and Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) loan deferrals are not automatic; however, they are available by request.

If you have any questions regarding any of our loan options, please contact our Loan Department by email at loans@aagcu.org. We have been experiencing higher call and email volumes. One of our Loan Officers will be in touch within two business days to discuss your options.

Distance Banking Options

In order to better protect you and our team members, we’re encouraging members to continue to use our distance banking tools when possible.

If you haven’t signed up for our mobile and online banking services, you can do so by clicking here: Enroll in Mobile and Online Banking

Online Banking

Use our Online Banking channel for secure access to your account, 24/7. Apply for loans online or send us a message to speak to a representative . With our Mobile Banking App (Google Store) (Apple Store) you can deposit checks directly into your accounts. If you have not enrolled in Online or Mobile Banking, you can access enrollment here.

Mobile Banking:

Our mobile apps for smartphones and tablets allow you to access your account and find shared branches and ATMs.

Branch Availability

Since our reopening in June, we are continuing to provide full financial services while following CDC guidelines. These include: limiting the number of members in the branch at one time.

Anchorage Branch is OPEN with a limit of Two members in the lobby at one-time.

Please call the branch, (907)-563-5335 before entering and practice “social-distancing” as you may need to wait outside while we finish transactions.

SeaTac Branch is open with a limit of three members in the branch at one time. Please wait in the foyer if there are more than three members in the lobby.

Our Drive-Up Window is open from 9am-5pm.

Between each member, high traffic areas are being cleaned and disinfected. And we ask that members please regard the Washington State Mandate and wear a mask inside the branch lobby.

Our Changing Environment

During this period, branch employees will still be offering full services, including answering the phone, processing in person transactions accepting loan applications and taking deposits through the night drop box. If you need a check withdrawal, please contact us and we will mail it to you.

Alaska Air Group Credit Union remains at your side.  Through times both prosperous and difficult, we will weather this time together. Once a member, always a member.

While this situation and time remains fluid and can change quickly, Alaska Air Group Credit Union is well capitalized, financially strong, and dependably sound. The Credit Union is regulated and insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
