Alaska Air Group Credit Union

President’s Message

Dec 2020 | Credit Union News

On behalf of the Board of Directors and credit union employees, I want to express my sincere thanks for everyone’s support and patience in 2020. I am grateful for the support and understanding from our members, employees and Board of Directors. As a credit union, we made adjustments in order to help our membership and staff. We limited our in-person transactions for most of the year, but were able to adapt by launching our new Online and Mobile Banking platforms. We were able to add emergency loan programs and move to virtual formats for our Annual Meeting and financial seminars. Our Scholarship committee awarded $5,000 to five scholars in 2020. We look forward to seeing what these winners will do in the future! We have missed seeing all of our members in person, and are so thankful for everyone’s support and patience as we navigate the ever-changing environment. We are continually updating and enhancing all of our products, and are excited to offer new services to our membership. Looking to the new year, the credit union will be moving the SeaTac branch across the street from the new Alaska Hub building. This move will be a better location for the membership and is scheduled for Spring 2021.

I want to thank our membership, my co-workers, and the Board of Directors for everything that we have been able to accomplish this past year and I am especially looking forward to 2021.
