As a trusted partner of Alaska Air Group, we strive to show up in meaningful ways to support employees. We wanted to showcase what we’ve been up to this past quarter. You may see the same familiar faces at events, our marketing team of two – Mikah and Abi – are often on the go supporting these events.
North Star Orientation
If you’re new to Alaska Air Group, there’s a good chance you saw us during your North Star orientation! Every Monday, we have the privilege of connecting with new hires on their very first day. Being an exclusive resource to AAG, we appreciate getting to introduce ourselves early so employees can gain access to all the great things AAGCU has to offer, without missing a beat.
Horizon Leadership Summit
At the beautiful Global Training Center, we were pleased to provide stickers and swag to the leaders of Horizon Air. We had the best time meeting leaders, networking, and brainstorming station visit opportunities.
Women’s History Month Flag Raising at the HUB
In celebration of Women’s History Month, we partnered with Alaska Air Group’s Women in Tech and Military, Veterans, & Allies Business Resource Groups to sponsor lunch for their flag raising and lunch n’ learn about the incredible accomplishments of Hedy Lemarr. This event was a great opportunity to learn about women’s advancements in technology, as well as connect with Alaska Air Group employees!
Women in Business Networking Event
AAGCU was honored to sponsor the coffee and pastries at the Women’s International Networking Group Business Resource Group Women in Business Networking event in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We were pleased to have the opportunity to support the Alaska Airlines women and leaders who volunteered their time to speak to and mentor the students.
Employee Appreciation Day at the SEA Village
Alaska Air Group celebrated Employee Appreciation Day in March, and to join in on the fun we were invited to the SEA Village to connect with the awesome inflight crew members that support Air Group every day.
Station Visit at GEG
Outside of supporting Alaska Air Group events, our team works with station managers to coordinate visits to different airport stations to connect with employees outside of SeaTac and Anchorage. This past quarter, we had the opportunity to visit our friends at GEG and share information about their company credit union.
